KKCSI Terms of Service

Effective Date: 11 September 2026 · Version 3.0 (Malaysia & Singapore)

Important: These Terms govern the KKCSI and KKBOSS services identified in your order, including kkbase. By creating an account or placing an order, you accept these Terms and the incorporated policies. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under Malaysian or Singapore law.

1. Contracting Party, Eligibility & Contract Formation

“KKCSI”, “KKBOSS”, “we”, “us” or “our” means the service provider identified on your checkout page, order confirmation or invoice. “Customer”, “you” or “your” means the person or organization accepting these Terms.

  • You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering a contract. If acting for an organization, you confirm that you are authorized to bind it.
  • Product descriptions and prices are invitations to order. A contract is formed when we accept the order by activating the service or issuing an order confirmation, whichever occurs first.
  • Before submitting an order, you can review the selected plan, price, billing cycle and account details and return to correct errors.
  • Your order confirmation, applicable plan description, these Terms, the Privacy Policy, Acceptable Use Policy, Refund Policy and any signed order form make up the agreement. A signed order form prevails if it expressly states that it overrides these Terms.

2. Services & Plan Scope

We provide only the features stated on the current product page, plan description or order confirmation. For kkbase, the current service includes a Singapore-hosted JSON records API, static web-app hosting, project-scoped API keys, an authenticated local Ollama gateway, self-service CSV/JSON imports, manual snapshots, automatic daily backups and no-additional-charge self-service restoration.

  • Limits, included features and support levels vary by plan and may be enforced technically.
  • Unless expressly included in your order, kkbase does not provide customer S3/object storage, public PostgreSQL access, server-side Node.js/Python application runtimes, automatic custom-domain DNS or SSL activation, continuous backups, point-in-time recovery, or managed migration.
  • Beta, preview or free features may be changed or withdrawn on reasonable notice and are provided without a service-level commitment.

3. Accounts & Security

  • You must provide accurate, current information and keep it updated.
  • You are responsible for authorized activity under your account and for protecting passwords and API keys. Notify us promptly through the portal or at info@kkcsi.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
  • You must not share credentials publicly, bypass plan limits, probe other tenants, or interfere with service security.
  • We apply organizational access controls intended to separate customer workspaces, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.

4. Fees, PayPal, Renewal & Taxes

  • Prices, currency, taxes and the billing cycle are shown before you order. kkbase paid plans are currently priced in USD and paid through PayPal.
  • A paid subscription renews for successive billing periods only where recurring billing is clearly disclosed and authorized. You may cancel through the portal before the next renewal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period unless applicable law requires otherwise.
  • PayPal processes payment information under its own terms and privacy notice. We receive transaction identifiers and payment status, not your full payment credentials.
  • You are responsible for applicable taxes except taxes imposed on our income. We will issue transaction records required by applicable law based on the information you provide.
  • Refunds, duplicate charges and payment corrections are handled under our Refund and Cancellation Policy and mandatory law. No provision limits a statutory refund or other non-excludable remedy.

5. Customer Data, Privacy & Data-Processing Roles

As between you and us, you retain your rights in data submitted to the service (“Customer Data”). You grant us a limited right to host, copy, transmit and otherwise process Customer Data only as needed to provide, secure, support and comply with law in relation to the service.

  • For account, billing, security and service-administration data, we act as the organization/data user responsible for the purposes described in our Privacy Policy.
  • Where we process personal data contained in Customer Data only on your documented instructions, you remain responsible for notices, consents or other lawful authority, accuracy, retention instructions and responding to individuals; we act as your service provider/data intermediary to the extent applicable.
  • We implement reasonable security measures, retention controls and procedures for access, correction, deletion and breach assessment. Cross-border transfers, if any, are handled using safeguards required by applicable Malaysian or Singapore data-protection law.
  • We do not sell Customer Data or use private Customer Data to train public foundation models.
  • Privacy requests and complaints may be sent to our designated privacy contact/DPO at info@kkcsi.com. See the Data Deletion Instructions for deletion requests.

6. Customer Responsibilities & Acceptable Use

  • You must use the service lawfully and follow the Acceptable Use Policy, third-party platform rules and intellectual-property rights.
  • You must maintain independent copies of critical Customer Data and test integrations before production use.
  • If your plan includes AI-generated output, output may be inaccurate or incomplete. You must apply human review before using output for legal, medical, financial, employment, safety-critical or other high-impact decisions.

7. Availability, Maintenance & Data Recovery

  • Service status and planned maintenance are communicated through the status page where practicable.
  • No uptime percentage, service credit, backup schedule, recovery point or recovery time is guaranteed unless stated in an applicable signed order or Service Level Policy.
  • kkbase creates automatic daily backups of records stored through the JSON data API and linked static hosted-app files. User-initiated manual snapshots cover JSON API records only. Customers can restore an available completed backup through the portal at no additional charge. These are scoped snapshots, not continuous backups, point-in-time recovery or full PostgreSQL disaster recovery.
  • We may perform emergency maintenance or take reasonable action to protect customers and the service.

8. Intellectual Property & Feedback

We and our licensors own the service, software, documentation, trademarks and related intellectual property. Subject to payment and these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service during the subscription term. You may not copy, resell, reverse engineer or create derivative services except where applicable law does not permit that restriction. If you provide feedback, we may use it without identifying you or disclosing Customer Data.

9. Suspension & Termination

  • We may suspend access where reasonably necessary for a material security risk, unlawful use, material breach, non-payment, or harm to the service or another customer. Where practicable, we will notify you and allow a reasonable opportunity to remedy the issue.
  • Either party may terminate for an uncured material breach after reasonable written notice, or immediately where the breach cannot be remedied or continued service would be unlawful.
  • After termination, access ends and Customer Data may be deleted following the retention period described in the Privacy Policy or your order. Export important data before termination. Legal, payment, confidentiality, intellectual-property and liability provisions survive where their nature requires.

10. Warranties, Liability & Indemnity

  • We will provide paid services with reasonable care and skill. Except for express commitments and rights that cannot be excluded, the service is provided “as available” and we do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation.
  • To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, lost revenue or loss of goodwill. This does not exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
  • To the maximum extent permitted by law, each party’s aggregate liability arising from the agreement is limited to fees paid or payable for the affected service during the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. The cap does not apply to payment obligations, infringement or misuse of the other party’s intellectual property, breach of confidentiality, or liability that law prohibits from being capped.
  • You will indemnify us against third-party claims arising from unlawful Customer Data or your material violation of the Acceptable Use Policy, but only to the extent caused by your breach and subject to prompt notice and reasonable control of the defence.

11. Governing Law & Disputes

  • If the contracting service provider identified in your order is Malaysian, Malaysian law governs and the Malaysian courts have non-exclusive jurisdiction.
  • If the contracting service provider identified in your order is Singaporean, Singapore law governs and the Singapore courts have non-exclusive jurisdiction.
  • If no contracting jurisdiction is identified, the law and courts of the service provider’s principal place of business apply.
  • Before filing a claim, each party should give written notice and allow 30 days for good-faith resolution. This does not prevent urgent court relief or use of a regulator, tribunal or consumer remedy available under mandatory law.

12. Changes, Notices & General Terms

We may update these Terms for legal, security or service changes. Material changes will be notified through the service or account email before taking effect where reasonably practicable. Changes do not retroactively reduce accrued rights. If a material change adversely affects an active paid subscription, you may cancel before the change takes effect.

If part of these Terms is unenforceable, the remainder continues. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. Neither party is liable for delay caused by events reasonably beyond its control. You may not assign the agreement without our consent; we may assign it as part of a genuine corporate reorganization or transfer of the service, subject to applicable law and continued protection of your rights.

13. Contact & Legal Notices

Questions, complaints and legal notices may be submitted through the Customer Portal or emailed to info@kkcsi.com. The legal name, registration details and address of the contracting service provider must appear on your order confirmation or invoice. Notices to you may be sent to the account email or displayed in the portal.
